I never imagined I’d be writing a book like Surviving His Spells. I met him during a breakup, and what I thought was a helping hand quickly became spiritual bondage. This wasn’t a love story — it was a battle for my soul.

I didn’t want to tell my story. For months, fear and distractions held me back. Part of me didn’t want the world to know my business, and part of me wondered if sharing would look like revenge. But God wouldn’t let me bury it. He kept bringing it back to me until I finally understood — I went through this to help save others. This is my testimony.

At first, I wrote my story myself and then hired professionals, hoping they could make it perfect. But no matter how much I spent, no one could capture the truth the way God gave it to me. During a three-day fast, He reminded me: it doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be obedient.

So I took it back into my own hands and wrote it the way He told me. I still wrestled with releasing it for months, but in the end, obedience was greater than fear. And this time, I chose you — the reader.

This book isn’t perfect, but it is prayed over and written with intention. Every word carries my heart and my hope that as you read, God speaks to you, chains are broken, and freedom is released. My prayer is that what tried to silence me will empower you — and that as you turn these pages, you find healing, deliverance, and the courage to tell your own story.
